Open Questions:
Open Questions should be asked when we want to elicit a lot of information. Ex:- “Can you tell me everything about the situation?”
Closed Questions:
Closed Questions should be asked when we want to elicit specific information. Ex:-“Can you tell me the exact time of the incident?”
Paraphrasing:
Rephrasing what the client said to double-check the information. Ex:-“So, if I understand you correctly… You want good hotel rooms but cheap flights.”
Check for Understanding:
Keep confirming with the client whether you are following the desired process/approach or not. Ex:- “So, what I have done for you today is….”
