The easiest way to get to Finland is by plane.
The main hub is Helsinki International Airport, also known as the gateway to Asia. The city centre is a 30-minute bus or train ride away from the airport.

BY TRAIN:
Another interesting route to take is the train from St. Petersburg, Russia. The fastest train takes only four hours to reach Helsinki.

The Helsinki Airport has excellent connections to the whole Helsinki region and to other destinations throughout Finland. You can continue your journey from Helsinki Airport by train, bus or taxi. The Train Stations, as well as Platforms for buses and coaches serving the Helsinki city centre and metropolitan area are located in front of both terminals.

Ferries from Stockholm, Sweden; Tallinn, Estonia; and Travemünde, Germany are alternative ways of travelling to Finland. Some operators are – TallinkSilja, Viking Line, Finnlines, St. Peter Line.
