Located 56 km west of Male’ International Airport and can be reached by a scenic 20-minute seaplane ride or approximately 90 minutes by speedboat. The island is over 1.8km long, with acres of luxuriant vegetation surrounded by spectacular beaches tapering into an endless sandbank. Guest villas are scattered around lush gardens, facing secluded areas of long beaches or poised over water, and some feature additional luxuries.

The Basic All Inclusive would entitle you to a wide range of premium beverages, making one mull over 50 classical and tropical cocktails to herbal teas and specialty coffees.

Complimentary snorkeling gear and windsurfing equipment (albeit knowledge to maneuver is required) along with 2 excursions are also included.

While the Select All Inclusive is ideal if you wish to have a taste of Kuramathi at its best where you drink merrily and dine happily at any à la carte restaurant of your choice. Although, the Inclusive packages subtlety attempts to increase your waistline, it does offer you other benefits too. Complimentary snorkeling equipment is included within the package giving you a free ticket to house reef snorkeling - Kuramathi’s personal aquatic adventure where myriads of colourful fish say ‘Hi’! Basic knowledge of windsurfing also grants you the privilege to use it free of charge, for those adrenaline thrill seekers.

After these exhilarating ventures, stop by at the Island Coffee Shop, Dhoni Bar or Farivalhu restaurant and help yourself to a variety of assorted snacks, sandwiches and cake offered at High Tea. Curious explorers have the further opportunity to discover the neighbouring local island of Rasdhoo, experiencing Maldivian life on an island. On the other hand, romance is rediscovered when couples embark on the Sunset Cruise, leaving them to admire the fiery sunset over the horizon with a glass of sparkling wine.

Basic All-Inclusive Package

Basic All-Inclusive Package includes:

Main Meals: Your Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffets in either Haruge, Malaafaiy or Farivalhu restaurant. A restaurant is allocated to you based on your villa category.

High Tea is available at Island Coffee Shop, Dhoni Bar or Farivalhu restaurant: With coffee and tea, snacks are served from 15:00 to 17:00hrs. Any other foods consumed from the Island Coffee Shop is charged extra.

Snorkeling & Windsurfing Equipment: Snorkel, Mask & Fins are available at the Aqua Sports & Fun located next to the main Diving School; windsurfing equipment is available from the Aqua Sports & Fun located by the lagoon facing beach in the middle of the island. Guests are entitled to complimentary usage of 1 hour per day. Please note that lessons are not included, and basic knowledge is required. Guests must pass the competency assessment (charged at US $18) before using them independently. Please handle with care as you are liable for any damages of the equipment.

Excursions: One Sunset Cruise and One Trip to the neighbouring island Rasdhoo per person per stay.

Select All-Inclusive Package

Select All-Inclusive Package additionally includes:

Main Meals: A main restaurant is allocated to you based on your villa category, though you are welcome to use any of our main restaurants for dinner service, or any of our à la carte restaurants during opening hours. Do note that prior reservations will be required when dining in any restaurant other than your allocated main restaurant. Premium dishes such as lobster, and Private Dining experiences, are not included in the Select All Inclusive package.

Wines: House wines by the glass as well as bottled wines featured in Select All Inclusive Wine List (available at our à la carte restaurants with your meals.)

Do remember:

• When visiting local islands, we kindly ask ladies to cover their shoulders and thighs.
• Anything extra not included in the package will be charged to your account. As this is a Muslim country, by law we are required to control the alcohol served within the resort carefully. As such we ask you to check your bills thoroughly and sign for what you have consumed only. Any discrepancy in the bill should be brought to the attention of your waiter or outlet supervisor. It is not allowed to offer or invite non-all-inclusive guests for all-inclusive drinks/services. Should you wish to invite another guest for drinks, or any other item included in your all-inclusive package, you must purchase them at the standard rate.
• Check-out time is 12:00hrs noon. The All-Inclusive entitlements will end on your day of departure at 12:00hrs noon. For guests departing in the afternoon, if you had your lunch on your arrival day, the lunch on your departure day is not included.

Kuramathi Spa
The wellness heart of the island offers renewing therapies of Asian rituals and Voya massages in thirteen treatment rooms overlooking the azure waters. The sensuous locale also features separate male and female wet facilities comprising of a steam bath, Finnish sauna, and plunge pool.

Bageecha Kids Club
Bageecha meaning “park” or “garden” in the local language is a childcare center offering complimentary services for young guests from 3 to 12 years old with age-appropriate activities such as indoor games, craft sessions, and nature appreciation. The 560 sqm space features a creche, indoor and outdoor play areas, an entertainment room, a children’s swimming pool, and a splash pad. Babysitting services can be booked by request on-site at an extra charge.

Sports Centre
Guest can work up a sweat at the Sports Centre with a fully equipped gym and a floodlit tennis court.

Guests can take a refreshing plunge in one of the three swimming pools poised at each area of the island. A freeform pool with a shallow area for children is located near the Spa premises, meanwhile, infinity-edged pools are found in Fung Bar and Laguna Bar.

Medical Centre
Kuramathi Medical Centre is one of the best equipped facilities in this area and features the largest hyperbaric (decompression) chamber in the Maldives. It is equipped to handle major diving accidents or other emergencies. Two European doctors, a Diving Medical Officer, and a General Practitioner, are employed year-round.

Beach Villas

Tucked in greenery yet only a few steps away from the beach, the Beach Villa faces the lagoon side and features a four-poster bed and a wooden deck with daybeds and sun loungers at the entrance. This room type also features a semi-open-air bathroom with an outdoor rainfall shower.

Beach Bungalows

Nestled amongst the gardens, the Beach Bungalow features a four-poster bed and a daybed in the bedroom and a daybed and sun loungers at the front. The bathroom is large and is open-air with a hot tub on the corner.

Superior Beach Villas

Rounded in shape, the Superior Beach Villa includes a wooden deck with an inviting daybed on the corner and sun loungers. The open-air bathroom leads to a hot tub. This room category and upwards includes an espresso machine with a complimentary refill.

The Deluxe Beach Villa lies on the lagoon side fronted with an oversized wooden deck with sun loungers, parasol, and day bed. The interiors are accented with a king-sized four-poster bed.

A mere step from the shore either facing the lagoon or reef, this villa is perfect for families or friends travelling together. A two-storey accommodation with individual living spaces and separate entrances that are both outfitted with king-sized beds, day beds on a wooden deck, or a balcony. This villa accommodates 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.

Water Villas

Traditional in appeal with its thatched roof and natural interiors, the Water Villa is built on stilts steeped along the reef side. It features a king-sized bed, an adjacent bathroom with twin vanities, and a rainfall shower. Outdoors is a two-tiered sundeck with a hot tub, sun loungers, and a parasol completing the space.

Watersports

Non-motorised activities include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or paddle boating, meanwhile motorized activities are also available such as parasailing, fun tubing, water skiing & wakeboarding. For a more exclusive experience, a private speedboat trip can be arranged for snorkelling trips or a scenic cruise around the Rasdhoo Atoll.
