Your transfer from Velana International Airport is a breathtaking 40-minute seaplane ride, or combined 30-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo and 25-minute speedboat ride to the resort, either of which we will be happy to arrange.

Those looking for the iconic, overwater experiences (yes, like the ones you’ve seen on Instagram) will be right at home in the Lagoon Overwater Villa. With crystal clear, shallow water beneath your private deck and a private plunge pool with direct access to our expansive lagoon, a fully stocked minibar, and comfy bathrobes to hang out in all day, this is exactly what dreams are made of. At 110 square meters, this villa comes with a king-sized bed, daybed and all the Standard amenities, of course.

Ocean Overwater Villa

If snorkeling or sunbathing and soaking in the infinite ocean view is your thing, the Ocean Overwater Villa is ideal. Situated just a few meters away from the house reef, this villa has some of the finest uninterrupted ocean views around. It’s 110 square meters of pure luxury, with a king-sized bed, daybed, a private deck with plunge pool, a fully stocked minibar a rain shower, partial open-air bathroom so you can feel the ocean breeze.

2 Bedroom Lagoon Overwater Villa

Just warning you now, you’re probably never going to want to leave once you’ve checked in to our 221 square meters 2 Bedroom Lagoon Overwater Villa. Perfect for friends or families traveling together (sleeps up to six people), these two villas are connected by a shared private deck and large plunge pool, so you have plenty of space for togetherness and plenty of space for when you need a break, too. Each villa has a king-sized bed, daybed, a partially open-air bathroom with a separate shower, and transparent floor panels so you can see what is going on underneath at all times.

221 square meters flagship villa with the best access to uninterrupted ocean view and our house reef. Your neighbors are the abundant rays, baby sharks and fish friends that call this atoll home. This villa welcomes you with a glass floor entryway, living room with bar counter and dining room table; private deck with 4 sun loungers, oversized infinity plunge pool and a perfect sleeping hammock, or whoever claims it first. Lagoon Beach Villa

The 137 square meters, coveted Lagoon Beach Villa features stellar views of our white sand beach. You might find yourself trying out one of the resort’s many water sports activities, or you could simply chill out in your villa because everything you need is right there, including a king-sized bed, a separate daybed, a private deck with sun loungers and a plunge pool, an open-air bathroom with a giant bathtub, double vanity sinks, bath accessories and more.

2 Bedroom Lagoon Beach Villa

The dreamy, 2 Bedroom Lagoon Beach Villa gives groups a little bit everything. At 306 square meters, this is one of our largest rooms on the property features stellar views of our white sand beach. The two villas are joined by shared deck with large private plunge pool, and each has a king-sized bed, one daybed, fancy linens, and fluffy bathrobes, to name a few.

2 Bedroom Ocean Beach Villa

Our 2 Bedroom Ocean Beach Villa features the white sand beach and uninterrupted ocean view for a perfect morning stroll or stargazing. At 306 square meters, this is one of our largest rooms on the property, the two villas are joined by a large private plunge pool and shared deck. Each villa has a king-sized bed, one daybed and everything you need.

For an indulgent and playful afternoon, TODIS BAR is the spot. Located just off the pool deck, we serve luxurious bar favorites – but with a local culinary twist. And don’t forget to order a drink featuring “toddy,” a special Maldivian coconut nectar you simply have to try. For the kid in us all, you can head over to the custom-made tubular ping pong tables to sip and play at the same time.

Our authentic Maldivian Restaurant, GUDUGUDA is the first of its kind in the Maldives. We feature and celebrate the traditional Maldivian cuisine with freshest ingredients. Guduguda is the Dhivehi (the local Maldivian language) noun for a special water pipe, and also describes the activity of relaxing and conversing while enjoying it, which we invite you to enjoy in our adjoining lounge. Activities

All our outdoor watersports, like snorkeling, kayaking and diving, are available. In accordance with HPA guidelines, all group activities are restricted to single households – just you and whoever is in your villa. Be sure to book at least two sessions so you can properly learn all water sports, with jet skis, wake boarding or kite surfing. If you would like to get off the island for a bit, our snorkeling or dive excursions are perfect for daytime activities.

Turtle Expedition
There are few more exciting and yet leisurely experiences than floating along side a green sea turtle as it gently dines on sea grasses. Take it slow, and go with the flow on an afternoon turtle expedition. Turtles are easy to locate, love shallow water with lots of marine life, and they don’t mind sharing the water with snorkelers. Five of the world’s seven different sea turtle species call the Maldives home. Discover the beautiful Maldivian aquaculture hidden just beneath the surface from a turtle’s perspective.

Snorkel Safari
After a short, 20-minute boat ride, choose a buddy, suit up in snorkeling gear, and jump into the pellucid aquamarine waters of Maldives, swimming with an array of exotic fish and coral. Look carefully and you may well spot some turtles, eels, clams, and even lobster.

House Reef Snorkel
There’s no easier way to enjoy the ocean than The Standard House Reef. Meet in the lobby, walk to the jetty, and jump into one of the most spectacular underwater worlds imaginable, including 98 types of coral that are home to over 220 species of marine life!

Starlight Snorkel
Imagine floating quietly in the sea beneath a sky filled with more stars than you’ve ever seen. The Maldives is one of the most remote locations on earth, making it ideal for stargazing. Hanifaru Manta Snorkel
Swimming with giant mantas is the experience of a lifetime. These giant creatures may seem imposing but they’re extremely gentle and not at all shy. Watch them glide through the water as various fish swim alongside and under them in harmonious symbiosis. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a whale shark, the world's largest fish!

No experience brings you closer to Maldivian culture than fishing, a vital economic and social island activity. Anchor your boat at the edge of an atoll and learn to line-fish like a local with hoop reels. With one of the world’s most diverse aquatic ecosystems, you’ll be pulling in mackerel, snappers, emperors, jacks, and other nocturnal reef fish and, if you so choose, have the chef grill them up for you back at the resort. Fishing with the kids? They’ll love snacking on fish bait-shaped gummies, sweets and drinking from fresh coconuts.

Big Game Fishing
Enjoy leisurely downtime punctuated by short bursts of action as you troll for and battle big game fish in these deep waters fishing adventure. Leave the shelter of the inner atoll for deeper waters on this big game fishing expedition. Experienced local staff provide safety and training sessions, allowing guests to practice their rod casting skills in open seas. Enjoy a selection of refreshments as the boat cruises the depths, trolling for tuna, swordfish, and barracuda. Diving with Manta Rays

Hanifaru Bay, a Marine Protected Area and UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve area, is famous for its concentration of reef manta rays. These gentle creatures swim around with ease and grace, and now you can join them! With our Manta snorkeling experience, you’ll head out to the bay on a scenic high speed boat ride before diving in yourself to behold this aquatic marvel all for yourself.

Traditional Boduberu
The Boduberu team meets at Todis Bar for a night of tribal beats, chanting, and dancing. The stage is set for anyone brave enough to join the Boduberu trance or sit back and enjoy the show.

Hammam Spa Mixer
We don’t think a spa always has to be quiet. Pop into our hammam for a communal do-it-yourself session with all your friends, both old and new. We’ll provide the scrub and mud.

Standard Pool Party
After 20 years of epic pool parties in Los Angeles and Miami, join one of our legendary afternoon parties and kick back at our main infinity pool overlooking the crystal-clear waters and lounge all day long with a cocktail in hand & our beats in the air.

Karaoke Night
Grab a microphone and sing your heart out to top karaoke hits right on top of the ocean, your audience will include the sea creatures underneath the glass bottomed dance floor.

Moonlight Cinema
Enjoy weekly movie screenings on our beachfront, including films for both families and adults. Stretch out on the sand or plop down in one of our cozy loungers and enjoy our curated menu of snacks and drinks inspired by the films.

Coconut Fishing
Enjoy a demonstration in traditional tree-climbing techniques from an experienced staff member as he kicks off his shoes, throws on a sarong and free climbs to retrieve a fresh coconut. Then head over to Todis Bar to extract the juice for a custom-made cocktail, served right in your coconut shell.

Spa Sleepover
Far from your childhood pajama party, you’ll slip into a sarong and enter the spa to sample different services for a few hours over cocktails and bites (think tonics, elixirs, fruit bowls, etc.) and enjoy the pool and cozy daybeds. The Spa loungers are then transformed into sleep-over beds with blankets and pillows. You’re free to return to your room at any time, but those staying the night will receive one last early morning elixir at wake-up to kick-off a new day.

Learn Dhivehi
Using our own English and Dhivehi flashcards, kids can learn the local language through fun games. When they’re done, your little one might be able to give you a tour of the island like a true local.

Beads, Shells, and Bling
Your kiddos can craft their own necklaces and bracelets using wood beads. If they want to go all out, they can even paint the beads to create the perfect home-made souvenir.

Eco Conservation

We are committed to the conservation of marine life and protection of the oceans that surround us. Preserving coral life, reducing plastic waste, and using products made from repurposed and recyclable materials all form a groundwork of our conservation approach to saving our ocean and marine life. Our mission is to reduce our carbon footprint by implementing several initiatives on resort. Most importantly by offering all our guests Complimentary glass bottled distilled water from our very own bottling plant on the Resort. All our beverages are served with biodegradable eco-friendly straws. All our biodegradable waste products are reused and recycled as compost for our beautiful gardens and neighboring farm island.
